Making the most of your money requires an understanding of finance, law, and taxation, together with a detailed knowledge of how financial products work – and you, like the vast majority of people, simply do not have the time (or the inclination!) to look into everything while you’re juggling life’s various other demands.

MEET THE TEAM
MICHAEL CHAPMAN
Director and Lead Financial Adviser
Michael has been in the financial service industry since 1995. Prior to founding AIC Financial in 2007 – which has since grown to service over 500 clients – he worked for Standard Life in financial services administration, then HSBC as a Financial Planning Manager, working his way up to corporate level.
Michael has extensive experience in core advice areas. He specialises in wealth planning via pensions and investments, and other key specialist areas such as lifetime mortgages, long term care, and estate planning. He is equally adept at assisting corporate and SME clients.
When he is not working, Michael enjoys the theatre, the arts, and socialising with family and friends.
Michael’s approach:

TERENCE FISHER
Financial Adviser
Terry has been working in the finance industry for nearly 40 years. Throughout his career he has enjoyed a variety of roles, from acting as a business partner within an estate agency firm to running his own financial services business for more than two decades.
Terry has vast experience in core advice areas. He specialises in mortgage protection, wealth development and retirement planning, and has ample experience in working with private, corporate and SME clients, especially those recommended by established accountancy firms.
When he’s not working, Terence enjoys spending time on the golf course; taking in a theatre show or a musical; and doing what he can to help young people access sporting facilities and the arts.
Terry’s approach:
Deliver practical advice for the ‘now’, with one eye always on the future.

PAUL JONES
Financial Adviser
Paul has a broad range of knowledge gained from his time spent working within various financial institutions. Initially starting off as an estate agent in 2005, he soon became a very successful mortgage advisor working within one of the UKs largest estate agencies, winning multiple awards emanating in his final year being named ‘National Mortgage Advisor of the Year’.
With the imminent arrival of his first born, Paul decided to leave the corporate world and set up his own company. Then in 2017 he qualified as a financial advisor gaining his DipFA and now helps his clients with all aspects of financial advice from his company Jones Mortgages & Investments.
Paul prides himself on his customer service, treating every case with the utmost care. It’s this level of care combined with his vast knowledge that has helped Paul become a valued financial advisor to many.
GEORGE PETCH
Financial Adviser
George has been in the financial services industry since 2003. Prior to becoming a financial adviser George’s background was in finance, initially Banking with RBS and Morgan Stanley, then helped to build a reciprocal trade exchange.
George has extensive experience working across all client types, from private clients to Business Owners and Corporates.
Specialising in:
- Investment and pre-retirement planning.
- Near and post-retirement planning.
- Mortgage & Protection advice for first to last home purchases.
When not working George is interested in in all things sport and enjoys tennis, cycling and walking. George has a particular interest in local live music. Family man who enjoys spending weekends with his children.

SAMANTHA DAVISON
General Insurance Adviser
Sam has worked in the financial industry for over 35 years. From International banks to Sub-Prime lending and auditing. For the last 14 years, Sam has focused on General Insurance Products.
Sam took a role in 2009 as an Operational Director for a large Insurance Brokerage. This enabled Sam to look at the whole process from enquiry, to underwriting, customer service and claims experience.
In 2014, Sam decided to take the plunge and set up her own Insurance Brokerage. Sam specialises in all residential and commercial policies. Her vast knowledge enables her to ensure the client has the correct cover and prides herself in tailoring the policy to the client’s individual needs, her long standing relationship with Insurers, allows her to provide the best client experience.
Sam takes care of her clients through the whole process and is available as sole contact for the duration of their policy, also priding herself on ensuring the renewal products are acceptable and competitive, year on year.
When Sam is not working, she enjoys long walks with her dog and her passion is horses, along with her daughter.
JACK MATTOCK CeMAP
Mortgage Advisor
Jack joined the team in 2023 after working as a mortgage advisor at a well-known estate and lettings agency for more than 2 years. During this time, he submitted more than 175 mortgages to large and independent UK lenders.
Prior to his time in the real estate industry, Jack worked in various payments, MI and sales roles throughout a 5 year career at Barclays.
Jack owns and operates his own Buy-To-Let properties, which means he can bring unique real-world insights to his role. He understands the everyday challenges that our customers face and aims to support them through their mortgage application in a way that’s professional yet down-to-earth.
When he’s not working, Jack enjoys following (and playing) football and golf.
